Nicht noch mehr Web 2.0, bitte

Das ist irgendwie kein Wetter, um zu schreiben. Überhaupt kein Wetter, um irgendwas mit Hirn zu tun. Ich schiebe ein paar Aufgaben vor mir her, beschäftige mich stattdessen mit mechanischem Herumgebastel an kaliban.org und Umhergesurfe.
Ich eröffne Accounts bei schon was älteren WebZweiNull-Seiten, die ich seit langem mal ausprobieren wollte, um expertig mitreden zu können (Habbo, Plazes), einfach nur, um mich vom Arbeiten abzulenken.

Stelle dabei übrigens fest, dass meine Bereitschaft, mich in Communitys zu organisieren, derzeit nur noch so ander unteren Grenze von geht so ist. Wie viele verschiedene "Ichs" in Online-Gemeinschaften kann man eigentlich aktiv betreuen, kann man aktiv nutzen, kann man mit eigenen Ideen und Input füttern? Eine? Zwei? Zehn? Ich hätte Lust, mich auf Wikipedia mehr zu verwirklichen, hätte Lust, neben Kalibantm noch ein, zwei monothematische Blogs zu machen. Hätte Lust, eine oder zwei meiner derzeit brach liegenden Ideen für Web-Projekte* auszuprobieren. Aber solange ich noch nicht durch das plötzliche Eintreffen eines Lottogewinns oder die spontane Vertausendfachung der Amazon-Affiliate-Einnahmen so reich geworden bin, dass ich meinen Tagesjob* an den Nagel hängen kann, solange wird das wohl nichts mit dem Vollzeitleben im Internet.

Ohnehin würde ich gerne wissen, wie viele Leute eigentlich wirklich das ganze WebZweiNull-Zeug intensiv nutzen. Eine spontane Umfrage im Bekanntenkreis ergab, dass nur 20 Prozent der anwesenden Coolen Leutetm irgendwas halbwegs Konkretes mit dem Begriff Web 2.0 anfangen können, geschweige denn die entsprechenden W E B S E I T E N überhaupt kennen (Kurze Unterbrechung: Muss mal schnell für meinen Freund, den Google-Bot, das mögliche Buzzword Web 3.0, wiederhole Web 3.0, Web Drei Null, einfügen, wer weiß, wofür es gut ist...) -- wer also sind die Leute, die all diese Sites mit Leben füllen (sollen)? Haben die Kiddies da draußen so viel Muße? Oder ist die Zeit nahe, in der wir uns über unsere Community-Zugehörigkeiten definieren, mit Angaben auf der Visitenkarte, wo man dazu gehört, von Xing über das GSPB zu den Lokalisten zu last.fm zu Flickr bis zum Arsenal? Da kommt was zusammen. Schöner wäre eine Meta-Community, eine Webseite, die all meine Reputation aus diversen Einzelsystemen zusammenträgt und bündelt zu einem Social Megascoretm. Ich brauche schließlich schon jetzt eine eigene Datenbank, um die ganzen Chars und Usernamen und Avatare und Nicks zu verwalten. Und habe noch gar nicht einmal angefangen, mich absurderen Projekten wie Qype oder Mr. Wong oder IRC Galerie oder JoinR zu widmen. Werde ich wohl auch nicht. Da mache ich eher eine Art Community-Empfehlungs-Übersichts-Seite auf. Mit massenhaft User-Participation und starker Community-Ausrichtung und vielen Web 2.0-Features. Und werde reich, wegen des derzeit reichhaltig vorhandenen Wagniskapitals.

Aber dafür habe ich natürlich keine rechte Zeit, weil ich ja schon in 86 Communitys Mitglied bin. Und es außerdem, ich schließe hier jetzt mal den Bogen, viel zu sonnig ist, um was Sinnhaftes zu tun.

warum kann man sich nicht einfach für wenig geld etwas zeit kaufen? man könnte so viel mehr erledigen. ist schade, dass man immer gezwungen ist prioritäten zu setzen. so viele fähigkeiten und talente verkümmen deswegen.

Hm. "Dank" ein paar lästigen Allergien bin ich zur Zeit eher mehr zuhause als draußen. Und kann mehrere Dinge definitiv sagen:

-Web 2.0 ist nicht nur Hype. Es ist völliger Hype und wird in keiner von mir frequentierten Webseite genutzt.

-"User Generated Content"? Quark. Ich spiele ein Browserspiel (ja, "Spiel". Nicht "Game"), bei dem ich mich ab und zu mit dem Itemdesign auseinandersetze und hier und da ein wenig aushelfe. Meinen "Content" kann man dort auch bestaunen, nichts großartiges imho.

-"Second Life"? Kannte ich schon vor dem Medienrummel. Und konnte es auch schon vorher nicht ausstehen.

-"Social Networking"? Verdammt, ich weiß immer noch nicht was das sein soll..klärt mich da wer auf?

Super Artikel, bis ich aber endlich den Link zu linkmybox gefunden hatte. Als Datenbank hatte ich das bisher noch gar nicht so gesehen, aber irgendwie stimmts. Habbo taugt nur zu Raids seitens einer gewissen Webseite, ansonsten glänzt es mit "Clipping ist zu schwer zu programmieren" und einer konstanten Ablehnung von farbigen Mitspielern mit Afros die eine Entenstatue anbeten. Web 2.0 sollte eh endlich den Bach runtergehen, beim Tod der dotcom-Ära verpasste ich es leider knapp, auf ihren Überresten zu tanzen.
